1st Classic & Custom Bike Show
& Autojumble

18th 19th September 2004

First of all thanks to John our host for the weekend
and to Sam for all the work she put in plus all the bar staff.
& to Tina for the loan of the paddock for our car park & camping
I would like to thank my own crew for all there help especially the wife Jan
for putting up with me and also to my kids Louise & Oliver for their help.

Due to the adverse weather we had on Friday evening and Saturday what with high winds and rain
almost destroying the marquee, we had to make a few adjustments to the event. first of all due to the
wind one of our traders (Fullmoon Fantasies of Harrow market) had their stand ripped apart by the
wind a good job was done by them, well done Mina & Sam for all your effort, we ended up putting
all of the trade stands inside the marquee. The bike show was moved to the Sunday as a lot of riders
had a job to get to us due to the high winds around the country, well done to the guys that came from
Birmingham and Leeds, hope you all got home safe. We did not make a fortune but we made some.

A big thank you to for their contribution to line up on Saturday evening, shame that
Billy did so much singing on Saturday evening he lost his voice.
Get well soon Billy. and thanks to all the boys for a good night.

Well what can I say about this band what a performance, Wayne you are ?
well cant think of the words I would like to use, all I can say is thanks mate you did it for me &
everyone else they will be talking about you and the lads for weeks if not years at the
St Johns Arms, all I have been asked is when is the next one and can we have The Victims again.
The only thing I need to tell to all those that did not come along is if you get chance to see
The Victims, go and have a good time they are a great band.
Thanks Wayne and the Lads, (Brilliant)
p.s  you must learn some Abba tracks. lol

On Sunday afternoon we had 2 bands lined up but as I said Billy from Bastille lost his
voice but after a full search of the site we gave up and gave Bastille the afternoon off.

came along and gave us a great set for an hour or so more a little more sedate
than the other 2 bands but still a great set with plenty of get up and go.
Thanks to Neil & the Lads

Thanks to Margaret & Mick for the catering hard work but hope you will come
back to our next show, also to Jules for the veggie thingy's, I still cant get the name right
and also that soup I have never had soup like that before, can I have the recipe please.
